Refund Policy — Feinwerk Plugins

Paid licenses in the Feinwerk Plugins store are sold by Paddle as merchant of record on behalf of Feinwerk, Peter Boehlke. Payments, invoices, withdrawals and refunds are therefore handled by Paddle. Paddle’s buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) and refund policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) apply. This page summarises the key points.

1. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers resident in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving reasons. For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires early if you expressly agreed during checkout that delivery may begin before the withdrawal period ends, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and started downloading or using the product. Paddle points this out during checkout.

Businesses have no statutory right of withdrawal.

2. Discretionary refunds

Independently of the right of withdrawal, Paddle may grant a refund at its own discretion within 14 days of the purchase. There is no entitlement to this. No refund is granted in cases of fraud, refund abuse or other manipulative behaviour.

3. How to request a refund

• via the link in your purchase confirmation from Paddle, or
• at https://paddle.net by selecting “Request refund”.

4. Subscriptions

You can cancel subscriptions at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period, in your customer account under “My subscriptions” or via Paddle. The license remains valid until the end of the paid period. There is no pro-rata refund for periods already started unless a withdrawal under clause 1 or a discretionary refund under clause 2 applies.

5. Consequences of a refund

When a refund is made, the associated license ends. Updates and new installations are then no longer possible; features that require a valid license may be deactivated.

6. Warranty

Your statutory warranty rights in the event of defects remain unaffected (clause 8 of the terms).

7. Language versions

This refund policy is available in German and English. The German version prevails.
